Snowman Hand Sanitizer

How adorable is this?!! I found this idea on Crafts and Crap and couldn't wait to make my own!

The hand sanitizer I got at the dollar tree. The curvy shape makes it look even more like a snowman! The ribbon, buttons, and scrapbooking stickers I already had.

He's so cute and would make a great little gift for a neighbor, teacher, or any other special someone.

Marshmallow Fruit Dip

This stuff is soooooo delicious!! Soooo easy to make! And would be great for your New Year's Party!

All you need is an 8oz package of cream cheese, 7oz container of marshmallow creme, and some fruit!

Just mix cream cheese and marshmallow creme together until smooth and eat!

My favorite fruits to eat with this are grapes and strawberries!

Put leftovers (I doubt there will be any!) in the refrigerator.

Monogram Ornament

I know Christmas is over, but I didn't want my sister to see what I was giving her before Christmas. So here it is now: a monogrammed ornament!

-You can find these clear plastic ornaments at Hobby Lobby in a couple different sizes. I bought this one on sale for 75 cents I think.
-The crinkled white paper is from the dollar tree.
-Ribbon from Hobby Lobby.
-The "K" is a scrapbooking sticker that I glued on.

Something easy and inexpensive you can make someone for next Christmas! :)

Warm water

1. Let kids shred the toilet paper in a large bowl or tub
2. Mix the toilet paper with the soap.
3. Slowly pour a little bit of water over the soap and toilet paper.
4. Mix together with hands.

* Snowballs and snowmen were fun to make with this!!

* I didn't have a picture of ours, so here is one I found on Google.

Smore's Gift & Recipe

I found this bag at a yard sale and the nice lady told me I could just have it,didn't have to pay anything! :)

These bags came 12 for $1.00 at Big Lots!

I put 4 graham crackers, 4 marshmallows and 2 Hershey bars in the bag. Then stapled it and added some ribbon.

The white cards are recipes. I hole punched them and tied together with white ribbon. One recipe is for smore's in the microwave and one for smore's in the oven:

Microwave S'Mores
Ingredients:

* 2 graham crackers, broken into halves
* 2 marshmallows
* 1 (1.55 oz.) HERSHEY'S Milk Chocolate Bar, broken into pieces

Instructions:

Place 1 graham cracker half on paper towel; top with chocolate bar half and marshmallow. Microwave at MEDIUM (50%) in 10 second intervals until marshmallow puffs. Immediately top with second graham cracker half; press together gently. Repeat for each serving. Serve immediately. 2 servings.

Oven S’Mores
Ingredients:

* 8 regular size graham crackers, broken in 1/2
* 2 milk chocolate bars, the kind that can be broken into squares
* 8 marshmallows

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Lay 1/2 of the graham crackers on a cookie sheet. Top with chocolate pieces to cover. Place marshmallow on top of each graham cracker. Bake until the marshmallows are puffed and golden brown, about 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from the oven and top with the remaining graham crackers, pressing down slightly to make a sandwich. Serve immediately, while still warm.

Such a cute, easy and inexpensive gift!!

Kitchen Christmas Decor

You saw the living room Christmas decor, now here is the kitchen!

I love the centerpiece! The berry stems were 50 cents each on sale at hobby lobby! And the green and silver ornaments make the perfect vase filler.

Here are the JOY Pails and a candy dish with mint candy sticks.

Christmas scrapbook paper. This is changed out for each holiday -here is Fall.

This is above the kitchen sink. Scrapbook paper with a snowflake ornament from the DT glued on top.

This is sitting on the kitchen counter.

Christmas Wreath..maybe?

So..I love putting wreaths on the front door. Makes the outside look more homey :) So, I decided to make my first Christmas wreath!

I got the wreath, garland, and ribbon at the Dollar Tree. And the Joy Ornament for $1.00 at Walmart. Already had the white Christmas lights, so this only cost me $4.00 to make!

I wrapped the wreath in the garland, and then the Christmas lights. Then hot glued the ornament on the bottom. Tied some ribbon on top and made a bow. I love it! But..there's one problem.

I was so excited to go hang it on the front door and plug it in..but..I went outside and there are NO plug ins out front :(  (Maybe we should have thought of this when we decided to buy this house. Just kidding!)

So, I love the wreath, I love the Christmas lights on it..but there's no where to plug it in. Sigh...I'll have to buy a very long extension chord or think of something else is guess.. But here's the pic in case you have plug ins and want to make it  :)
