Wedding Card Holder

I wanted something to set on the gift table at the reception to hold cards. I was at Hobby Lobby after Christmas and found this for 43 cents (originally $4.00)!! I love a BARGAIN! :)

It's a cardboard "bag" so it's sturdy enough to hold a lot of cards. It's also the perfect color to go with some of  the burlap we'll be using to decorate with.

However, the natural color raffia was a little boring, so I found this turquoise raffia at Target for $1.00.

Then used my Silhouette to cut out the word Cards using white vinyl.

Total Cost: Under $1.00!!

How are you liking your silhouette? I just got one too but I haven't had much time to use it!

  2. cute idea, leah! you should make a little raffia bow or flower to add a touch more of color. I love that bag/box thingy. I think we're using the same thing for cards at the wedding as at the shower. who knows. ugh, i hate planning!!!
