Kitchen Shelf

Here is my new shelf in the kitchen! I got the shelf and brackets at Lowe's. I then painted it aqua (same color as the table legs).

I found the pitchers, tea pots, and vases at different thrift and antique stores and yard sales.

I love the look of the white on the aqua shelf. :)

Telephone Bench Makeover

I had seen a blog that had made over a telephone bench and fell in love with it! So the next opportunity I had to go to a resale shop by our house, I did. And..they had just gotten this telephone bench in THAT MORNING! : )

Obviously it needed a little TLC...

So, after cleaning, sanding and 4 coats of paint...

I LOVE it!! I am thinking about changing the burlap to a more fun printed fabric though..we'll have to see.
