Thanks to Pinterest, I have had a lot of DIY projects in mind for our house! I finally found an old window frame at an antique store for $13 that I wanted to use to make a picture frame.
The frame was already painted white, so all I (my husband) had to do was put a few screws in the wall and hang it. I attached the pictures using Elmer's dot runner (found in the scrapbook section at Wal Mart). It sticks to the glass but easily peels off if you ever want to replace a picture.
While at the antique store and while browsing through another thrift store I found some old books that matched the colors in my living room perfectly! I tied them together with twine and then placed a picture frame on top.
This is so cute! The house we rent has a back door just like this. I've been tempted to take it when we leave! No, I'm not really going to, but I have been tempted! :) I found you through Craft-O-Maniac. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteIs this blog dead Leah? I MUST know.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I'm in the process of making my old window frame into a regular frame and was searching around for how to attach the pictures, so thank you! :D
